Mr. Low graduated from Leeds University in 1991 and was subsequently called to the English Bar at Lincoln’s Inn with Honors in July 1992. He was called to the Malaysian Bar on 16th July 1993 after completing his chambering with Messrs. Iza, Ng, Yeoh & Kit. Thereafter he joined Messrs. Nahappan, Dorairaj & Danker. He left Nahappan, Dorairaj & Danker and set up practice under the name and style of Messrs. Low Boon Wah & Co. Mr. Low has been involved in banking (including ship financing) and conveyancing in particular banking/loan documentation for Public Islamic Bank Berhad and Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad. Mr Low is also involved in corporate & commercial related work, and in this regard, has prepared the documentation for the issuance of Irredeemable Convertible Unsecured Loan Stocks and conducted due diligence exercises, amongst others, for clients listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Mr. Low’s other area of expertise is in marine and construction contracts particularly, in building construction.
